What does NVIDIA provide?
NVIDIA supplies more than chips. It provides hardware platforms, networking, software, and complete systems. Someone still has to operate the service built from them.
A supplied stack still needs an operator
Hardware · supported software · product documentation
Workload validation · access · changes · incident response

HGX is an accelerator-platform foundation used in server designs. DGX refers to NVIDIA system offerings. The exact generation determines the configuration.
CUDA and libraries help applications use the hardware. Drivers connect software to devices. The GPU Operator can automate parts of a Kubernetes GPU stack.
None of those decides your customer’s availability target or commissions the building’s cooling.
Keep ownership clear
A server supplier, network team, facilities team, and application team may all be involved. Actual support agreements determine vendor obligations.
When an update makes a job slow, record what changed and compare the affected path. “Ask the vendor” is not a complete recovery plan.
Try it yourself
Assign a first responder and escalation route for a driver mismatch, failed power supply, packet loss, low coolant flow, and incorrect model output.

Several teams may contribute, but one person should coordinate the incident. Do not assume a vendor owns a failure merely because its component is nearby.
