Frequently asked questions

What does GPU Tracker do?

GPU Tracker shows live hourly pricing for cloud GPUs (H100, A100, RTX 4090, and more) across ten providers: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Lambda Labs, RunPod, Vast.ai, CoreWeave, Paperspace, Hyperstack, and Salad. You can browse prices, set push alerts when prices drop below your target, and ask an AI advisor which GPU fits your workload.

How current are the prices?

We scrape provider pricing every hour. Each offer shows when it was last seen. For most providers we use public price lists or APIs; a few use community-sourced baselines that we update regularly.

Always confirm the price on the provider's own site before booking.

Do you take a commission when I book a GPU?

No. GPU Tracker is independent — we have no affiliate relationships, no referral fees, and no booking integration. When you tap an offer, the link opens the provider's own site in Safari (or your default browser). The price you see in the app is the price the provider charges you directly.

How do AI agent recommendations work?

The Ask tab sends your question and the current GPU catalog to Claude (Anthropic's LLM), which returns specific offer recommendations with reasoning. We don't store your queries beyond what's needed to generate the response.

Free accounts get 20 AI queries per hour, which resets every 60 minutes.

I'm not getting push notifications for my alerts.

Check:

  1. iOS: Settings → Notifications → GPU Tracker → Allow Notifications ON.
  2. Android: Settings → Apps → GPU Tracker → Notifications → enabled.
  3. Within the app, sign out and sign back in to re-register your push token.
  4. Make sure your alert is set to Active (the toggle on each alert row).

Alerts evaluate every 15 minutes server-side, so it can take up to 15 minutes after a price drops before you're pinged.

I forgot my password.

Use the "Use email code instead" option on the login screen. Enter your email, you'll get a one-time verification code in your inbox, type it into the app, and you're signed in without a password.

For a permanent password reset, email support@sridharrajarao.com and we'll send a reset link.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings tab → Danger Zone → Delete Account. The action is irreversible — your account, alerts, and push tokens are erased immediately.

Or visit our account deletion page for full details and an email-based option.

A provider's prices look wrong.

Email support@sridharrajarao.com with the GPU model, the provider, and what the provider's own site shows. We'll cross-check and patch the scraper if needed (usually within a few hours).

Can you add provider X / GPU model Y?

Probably! Email us with the provider's pricing page URL. We add new sources opportunistically based on user demand.

Is there an Android version?

Yes — currently in closed testing on Google Play. Public Play Store launch is pending Google's required 14-day closed test period. Want to be a beta tester? Email support@sridharrajarao.com.

Is GPU Tracker free? Will it ever cost money?

The current version is free with no ads. If we add a Pro tier in the future (higher AI query rate limits, more alerts), the basic version will stay free forever for everyone who installed before then.
